On June 27, 2024, during the exhibition “Van Gogh and the Stars” at the Van Gogh Foundation in Arles, France. I was invited to participate in a conference. It was Jean de Loisy, an art critic and media man who suggested that I present my research on the painting “Starry Night Over the Rhone”. He is also the organizer of the exhibition that hosts the famous painting, usually exhibited at the Musée d’Orsay but which was exceptionally loaned to the Foundation. I was accompanied by Arnauld Pierre, Professor of Art History at the Sorbonne.
